Planning for the 4th Annual Gastric Cancer Foundation Gala is in full swing, and we are looking forward to another elegant and exciting evening! The event has become a popular centerpiece of GCF’s calendar of activities, and all proceeds support GCF’s research, education and patient and caregiver support activities.
This year’s Bay Area event will take place on Saturday evening, December 1st, 2012 at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club in San Mateo. The Gala will again include a beautiful reception and gourmet dinner, plus lively silent and live auctions. We are also planning a few new surprises.
We are especially interested in adding new and unusual items to our auction offerings. These might include weekend vacation homes, unique experiences, or other opportunities that are not easily available to the public.
